  1. works as advertised 5 Star Review

Works well to winterize your Marine ac units without turning on the pump. Fits into various strainers when winterizing your engines in the water.

  2. Not usefull in all applications... 2 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Dec 2016

I have two engines in my Sea Ray and the Sea Flush did not fit everything in my boat. It worked fine as described with the port engine. The starboard engine the oil dip stick was in the way and could not use Se Flush. Worked ok winterizing the generator but would not work winterizing the air conditioner. Not enough room above the strainer.

  3. Great help for winterizing 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Dec 2016

I found the sea flush system a great help and time saver for the every year task of winterizing.
Two main Cat engines, generator and two AC units make for a full days work however using SeaFlush cuts it to about 2 hours. Lost first one I bought so ordered second one as I did not want to spend the one day.
It is rare that a product advertised performs as it is suppose, but this does.

  4. Success the first time 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Nov 2016

I have always winterized my Chris Craft with inboards by circulating antifreeze from the exhaust to the thru-hull intake until the thermostat opened.
The new Chris has closed cooling. I still used the recirculation method for the first two seasons. This season I wanted to do the job without depending on my buddies with the recirculation fixture.
I was going to try just pouring antifreeze into the strainer, but worried I would not be able to keep up with the engine's draw. So I decided to go with a proven method and not screw around.

Sea Flush worked perfectly with the available snorkel to draw antifreeze out of a 5 gallon bucket. No mess, no experimenting and fooling around.IT works.

  5. should have purchased this year 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Nov 2016

I keep seeing the sea flush and snorkel at boat shows and in boating magazines and keep telling myself "maybe for next years winterization ". I finally ordered the seaflush and snorkel this year and it cut down the time it takes to winterize my engines, generator and air-conditioning systems and I used a lot less antifreeze.

Iam looking forward to using it next season to flush the systems with barnacle buster

    Great product

  6. MADE ALL EASY 5 Star Review

    LOVED IT

  7. does the job 4 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Nov 2016

Unit works as advertised! If it wasn't for the manufacturer placing the sea strainers in a location where access is almost impossible it would have been a better experience. Note : if you have the smaller sea strainers - the sea flush may not work as discribed as the funnel blocks the sea side of the strainer not allowing you to purge the line to the sea chest. I found that the shop vac hose with a cotton rag works really good . It is also better to remove the water from the strainer before you purge. I also found that if you have the capacity in the shop vac - pull a suction on the Ac strainer as the reverse flow pulls all the schmootz from the condenser - then blow the antifreeze though the lines ( I used the blue funnel to add antifreeze as the pump was turned on and it pushes the antifreeze through the condenser). The papar towel gaske is a must and you will have to use a new one for each strainer. I was able to complete 4 boats in one day and the sea flush made the job a lot easier . Thanks!

  8. no mess 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Nov 2016

I always fought making a bit of a mess winterizing the boat. This system was a breeze. Did my whole boat in about 1 and a half hour. Used much less antifreeze and made zero mess. Love this thing.

  9. Making Winterizing More Enjoyable 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Nov 2016

What a great concept! Once you get into the flow it really reduces the time you are in the bilge of your boat. 2 engines, generator, AC and Water System. Of course the water system is not a part of this but it took a total of 3 hours start to finish. Vacuum the sea strainers, blow out the sea strainers, hook hose to funnel and let it rip. I used to have spare hoses that I got out once a year to make this easier. Took off hoses at the water pumps, put longer spares on and put them in a 5 gallon bucket. No more!

  10. Works well - when it fits 4 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Sep 2016

No problems with the device. Worked like a charm and made flushing my seawater systems a snap. Like others, I do recommend using the paper towel gasket. Fits my main seawater inlet strainer without issue - there was room. But my A/C intake strainer is in a bit tighter of a space and had to revert to other methods. Recommend the manufacturer develop a device for use in cramped spaces where the minimum clearance is not achievable (such as those you find on most sailboats).
