I ADDED A 1 FT SECTION OF CLEAR TUBING SO I COULD SEE WHAT WAS COMING OR GOING IN OR OUT OF VACUUM...

didn't work on my boat total waste of money
Snorkel length to short
Sea Flush did not attach correctly to my strainers
I needed the system to remove scale in my a/c units.
Might be ok to winterize smaller boat.

The snorkel is what makes the system work so well. I did make a gasket for the funnel and used a five gallon bucket for the antifreeze. Makes quick work of winterizing your boat. Money well spent!!.

worked well. Could fit a little tighter into funnel

The Snorkel is tool everyone should buy with the Sea Flush, the uses are endless when winterizing your boat or yacht

I used the snorkel along with the Sea Flush and it worked great. I have two big Cummins diesels and a diesel gen. I took a 5 gallon bucket from Lowes, put in 5 gallons of antifreeze, set up the Sea Flush and put the snorkel in the bucket with a weight to hold it at at the bottom. Ran the engines and it worked perfect. I was able to winterize my boat by myself using the the Sea Flush and the snorkel. Paid for itself with the first use.

This makes it easier and less stressful as you only need to fill a five gallon bucket and then let the engines pull it through.

I used the sea flush along with the snorkel. Had to make a gasket with towels. The snorkel kept coming loose from the sea flush as it got heavier with antifreeze. It would lean to one side or the other. The connection gets very slippery. Perhaps a rubber collar around the outside of the snorkel will make the fit more snug. It system does work well.
SEA FLUSH REPLY: please push the white snorkel cap securely into the top of the grey shopvac insert. It'll stay in place with friction and because of the suction, the shopvac instert will clamp down on the white shorkel cap. Thanks.

I purchased the snorkel just in case I would need it to winterize my engines... I was glad I did. The 8.1 Horizons pull the antifreeze so fast there is no way you can fill the funnel fast enough. I used a 3.5 gallon bucket with the snorkel attachment and still almost couldn't keep up. Next year I will definitely go with a 5 gallon bucket so that I am not having to rush as quickly to add antifreeze. This is a must have product that will make the job easier.

i believe the sea flush it self is great but the snorkel is overpriced and does not function well. it does not seal well so it pulled out of the sea flush when i tried using it, also its just a pvc fitting with 2 bucks of hose.
its way overpriced.
Sea Flush Response: We're sorry you had trouble with the Snorkel. Please make sure the snorkel is pressed into the ShopVac Insert firmly. Also, please send us your source for 5 feet of hose for $2. We'd love to inspect it for quality and consider it for production.
